Product Description
Compared to calcium propionate, feed-grade calcium acetate has a unique inhibitory advantage against specific spoilage bacteria (such as heat-resistant Bacillus that causes “rope disease” in high-moisture feed).
In mold prevention applications,it has a special protective effect on high-moisture feeds and silage. Adding feed-grade calcium acetate (recommended dosage 0.2%-0.6%) can effectively inhibit the growth of aerobic Bacillus, preventing spoilage of silage due to secondary fermentation after opening. Simultaneously, feed-grade can inhibit the growth of mold in feed, reducing the risk of mycotoxin production. Especially in the short-term storage of high-moisture corn and wet grains, the use of feed-grade can effectively prevent quality degradation caused by mold growth.
